Demonstration projects are often used as ‘proof of concept’ for a more sustainable vehicle or ship. The experience accumulated through such a practical test enables the initiators to improve their product and communication, and they get an opportunity to attract valuable media attention. Moreover, the demonstration provides them an opportunity to identify unforeseen barriers in legislation and regulation.
In such pilot projects, we often work with vehicle manufacturers, oil producers and power supply companies, universities, centres of expertise, industry associations and policy-makers. These projects relate to a variety of sustainable vehicle applications, such as multi-fuel concepts, cleaner engines, alternative transmission systems and efficient driving.
By linking up companies and organisations from the whole chain and establishing part-nerships, we can carry out progressive projects. By linking knowledge and technological developments to a clear vision, ideas can be translated into attractive competitive products and systems. In addition, we are often able to find the financial resources that make it pos-sible to launch products that, in view of the factors mentioned above, are not yet a paying proposition.
We also support clients in project management and in using communications and market-ing to make their applications more widely known. This is also good preparation for a later market launch.
